Worth being straight about how this works, because it is the question people ask.
We are a small outfit with our own vans, and alongside that we work with auto locksmiths we know and trust who are spread right across London and have their own vans and their own kit. So the person who arrives for a West London job is usually somebody local to West London.
It means you are not waiting on one van crossing the city, and it means we can say yes to a call at two in the morning in Acton as easily as one in the afternoon.
What It Costs, Before Anyone Sets Off
A replacement car key with programming is usually £200 to £250. That is the band our own customers select when they leave a Google review, not a figure we picked for the website.
Price depends on the make, model and year, so ring with the registration or send us a photo of the key. You get the number before anyone drives anywhere, and that number does not move afterwards.
No call out fee. No surcharge for evenings, weekends or bank holidays. One customer who had already rung round described the other quotes as ridiculous and ours as a fraction of them. Another said elsewhere wanted double.
Long Stay Car Parks
West London has more of them than the rest of the city put together, and they produce a particular kind of call. A fob that sat untouched for two weeks while you were away, and will not wake the car up when you get back.
That is usually a flat battery or a programming fault rather than anything serious, and both get fixed in the bay. Nobody needs a recovery truck on top of a flight.
Park Royal, Greenford And The A40
Trade vehicles, mostly. The estates along the A40 are full of people whose van is their income, so van keys, deadlocks and slam locks are regular work rather than occasional. We carry blanks and programming kit, which is why most of these finish in one visit instead of two.
We Fix What You Rang About
No upselling. If the barrel can be repaired we repair it rather than replacing it. If a lock does not need changing, it does not get changed. One of our reviews puts it better than we can: no damage, no upselling, fair pricing.
